Ender's Game Question #7
Answ.
Yes, there is one setting in particular and if you have not read the book then you are not going to know exactly what it is I am talking about. When Ender gets his leave on is way actually to the Command school they stop back at his hometown and he stays in a mansion for three months before Colonel Graff ever does anything. There are trees everywhere and there is a beautiful lake just so quiet and calm. There is no one else around for miles, so you are all alone. Ender would take his raft that he made and go out to the middle of the lake and sit and think. He would also go in and swim for a while. This place is so meaningful to me because it reminds me of going on vacation to
Ender's Game Question #6

“You’re a hero, Ender. They’ve seen what you did, you and the others. I don’t think there’s a government on Earth that hasn’t voted you their highest medal.”
“I killed them all, didn’t I?” Ender asked.
“All who?” asked Graff. “The buggers? That was the idea.”
Mazer leaned in close. “That’s what the war was for.” “All their queens. So I killed all their children, all of everything.” “They decided that when they attached us. It wasn’t your fault. It’s what had happened.”
Ender grabbed Mazer’s uniform and hung onto it, pulling him down so they were face to face. “I didn’t want to kill them all. I didn’t want to kill anybody! I’m not a killer! You didn’t want me, you bastards, you wanted Peter, but you made me do it, you tricked me into it.” He was crying . He was out of control.
This made me think, “what if I was made or tricked into killing millions or even billions of this or people.” I would be really emotional and mad because I am not a killer as Ender is not a killer. It hurt me to read this because it is not fait to take some ones childhood from them and then make them kill people or aliens. It is so I guess evil to do so. It does not make sense, just because he is a genius does not mean you should take him and make him into a soldier because you yourself could not figure out how to defeat what ever it is that you are trying to defeat. If they decided to tell him, what he was doing and not just preparing for a war, but actually fighting it he might have taken consideration and seeing as he could not leave anyway he would have just chosen to do it because he also knew that no one else could, they did not have the intellect as Ender did. It would have made this better on Ender’s behalf.
Ender's Game Question #5
Answ.
The mood of this novel kind of changes here and there, but it is mainly a glum mood. No, I do not find that this book saddens me in any way. The fact that a kid, six years of age is in the army giving orders and not being able to enjoy his childhood makes me mad. Well actually is does kind of sadden me because a kid that is six years old is being picked on and beaten up by older kids. He is just being treated unfairly, being threaten to be killed. In self-defense, he is killing people, but he is not noticing and he is also not being told. He is being trained and his being kept from his family never being able to see them again, except for his sister because she helps him move on. When he is being trained every one there is trying to break him down so they can find his weakness, but if they do that he would not be able to continue fighting because he would not want to. They do not break him completely so he continues to fight for everybody in space. He continues to fight and fight without even knowing that what he is doing is for real. When they moved him to Command school that early I realized that it was time to start the war and everyone in the book thought that he was just going to train for that moment. When he was told that he has just beaten all of them he broke up and said that he did not want to be a killer like his brother Peter. Ender had realized that he was just like his brother; killing for pleasure, but in reality Ender did not know that he was actually killing them. Ender thought it was just a game and he continued to play because he was made to.

Ender's Game Question # 2

Yes I do think there are similar situations like this. In other countries, there are kids with guns that I guess are supposed to fight with the adults in a war. These kids are only around nine to fifteen. The fact that they make “kids” fight in the army at that age just is not right. I guess the way that the novel says that it can be resolved is by using what you have. Kids that age yes can hold guns and are eligible to fight, but that does not make it right. In situations that have to do with war and the people are unprepared, they take what they have and they use it. In Ender’s Game Ender is a kid who they think can make a difference up there in “Battle School” and “Command School” and he did because he was a genius and he could come up with tactics that no other person could ever come up with. He made a difference to those people, they thought he could “fix” their problem with the buggers and they realized that he was that person who could do it. Ender defeated the Buggers faster than Mazer Rackham did. Mazer Rackham was the first person who defeated them in the first war. The thing is, is that when Ender was in “
Ender's Games Question # 1

The major theme of this novel I think is “even though you are young it does not mean that you cannot be a leader.” In this book Ender’s Game, he is known as “Third” because he was the third person born in his family. In this book, parents were only allowed to have two kids, but the government allowed them to have this “Third” because he was supposed to be some kind of weapon. When the main character Andrew “Ender” Wiggin was six years, old a person came from I.F. that was a person from a place called “
